Lomé, February 10, 2025 –(©AfreePress)- Ambassador Ngozi Ukaeje, ECOWAS Resident Representative in Guinea-Bissau, paid a working visit to the National Television of Guinea-Bissau (TGB) on January 17, 2025. She was received by the Director General of the network, Mr. Ahmadou Djamanca.
According to the regional organization’s communication department, this visit is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the visibility of ECOWAS programs and activities in the country, particularly in the context of the Organization’s 50th anniversary. Ambassador Ukaeje emphasized the importance of improving media coverage of regional initiatives to better connect Bissau-Guinean citizens with ECOWAS-led projects.
At the end of the meeting, the diplomat participated in a guided tour of TGB’s facilities, where she explored the station’s infrastructure and the challenges it faces. Discussions also focused on strategies to overcome these obstacles and strengthen the partnership between the regional institution and the country’s leading public broadcaster.
